Missing digsites on the Broken Isles

While leveling up Archeology on one of my characters I noticed that there’s only digsites in Val’sharah on the Broken Isle. But in the Archeology artifact window I can still research Highmountain Tauren and Highborn races.

Has anything happened to digsites in the other zones on that area? Like silently discontinued without informing the players for example.

It’s been a while, but if I remember correctly, Legion Archaeology is tied to a single zone on a 2 week cycle.
