I am playing on my char Zorcagea (horde Nordrassil level 25) and I am questing in Blasted Lands. When I try and fly from Gromgol to Blasted Lands, the FP there doesn’t show up as if it thinks the zone is in the after invasion when I have already switched it to before the invasion. The game seems to be reverting back to the latest timeline after you leave the zone but it shouldn’t do that.
It’s always been like this, at least once you hit level 90.
Are you in cataclysm chromie time? If not try that. If that’s not helping you can write an ingame suggestion.
It’s an old character and I haven’t been to see Chromie. I wanted to avoid doing that. I will try it and see if that makes any difference, but I thought you were able to quest without selecting any Chromie times if you wanted to, so this would still make this as a bug.
I have just been to Chromie and set my timeline to Cataclysm and the FP is still not showing in my list. I am a programmer by trade so the logic Blizzard should be using is -
If the character level is below the level of the phase after invasion, or the character is playing in a timeline before the invasion, then show the FP, else don’t.
The logic shouldn’t need to be any more complicated than that.
Well invasion is level 10 right now so hard to be below that. I hoped Chromie time would help but sadly it doesn’t seem to be the case.
I don’t mean the invasion that’s going on now, I am talking about the phased invasion that took place in Blasted Lands a few expansions ago.
I know, and as I said, since level squish and all expansions available at level 10 intro content like the Iron Horde invasion is now level 10.
If that is the logic being used, then the FP in Basted Lands for Horde is now redundant and should be taken out. What is the point of setting yourself to before invasion and having a FP there that can no longer be accessed when you are out of the zone. Either way, there is a problem in the game and it needs sorting.
Like I said use an ingame suggestion/bug report. This section is only read by support staff the devs don’t read it.
You went to see the Chromie in the Blasted lands right? Not another one, she’s at the entrance.
Why I… That’s Zidormi… Are you suggesting… Are you suggesting all Bronze Dragons are the same? This is… This is proposterous! Why I never… To think… I will write a ten paragraph angry post just to stretch out how offended I am.
