Missing netherwing drake black scales

Patch 10.2.6 added black scales for the grotton netherwing drake as a reward to an achievement.
I have completed the achievement long ago and the scales are neither mailed nor unlocked retroactively after the patch.

Most of the new rewards are currently missing. Best bet is to do a bug report in game and keep an eye out for any hotfixes.

  1. Press Esc or click the ? button to open the menu.
  2. Click Support.
  3. Click Submit feedback or bug report.
  4. Enter the details of the bug into the Submit a bug description box, making sure to follow the guidelines outlined on the submission form.
  5. Click Submit.

I’ve done that already, but I’m using more than one method.

This seems to have been reported already. I’m afraid that there isn’t much more we can do, outside of waiting for a fix on this issue.

Has it reached the threshold where it might be classed (and added to the Support page) as a known issue / “Trending Article” at this point?
Just from my own perusal of both EU and US forums, and community sites since Wednesday, it does seem fairly widespread (Albeit perhaps not quite entirely universal).

And your’s is the first Blue I’ve seen pick up on it, on either side of the puddle(genuinely thankyou). An official acknowledgement might head off people accidentally messing up their install trying fixes, and save CS some workload :smiley: .

I opened a ticket and reported as a bug. Finally got an answer for the ticket aswell, where the GM told me that they are aware of this and to report it as a bug. Soo ye. Report it please, as many of you as can. Hopefully it will get fixed soon.

Reported this via bug, and ticket… been told they can’t fix it so upload a bug report… I mean, just give the skin to players that it’s bugged for…?

Having issues with a heroic → mythic transmog item too, upgraded it to mythic and it lost the heroic skin! Just keep being told they’re lucky to have my sub since classic and they appreciate it :sob:

As mentioned in my previous response, this bug has already been reported. There is no need to report it anymore. :pray:

While we help when we can, I’m afraid Customer support can’t fix everything in-game. In this specific instance, a fix would need to be made by the developers, and all affected players would then obtain the reward that they earned. :slight_smile:

Any update? When it last happened in November with the weapon ensemble, it took “only” 5 days to fix, this is already a month…

So, now that a specific fix has been made by the developers( https://worldofwarcraft.blizzard.com/en-gb/news/24057474 ) , and I have still not obtained the reward that I earned even after reset, what is your recommendation?

I also am impacted by this issue - despite the Hotfix Purrsley mentions and having completed the achievement I continue to be unable to apply this coloration to my drake.

Earned the achievement on the 28th of march, still no scales.
The hotfix didn’t fix anything and I still can’t access the reward I earned.

I wonder why this has to be so complicated.

The fact that other players who got the achievement later than I did are able to use this customization option adds insult to injury.

I suppose there’s always next week. And the next… and the next.

I have Achievement since 25 March and still no Scales aswell how hard can it be Blizzard?
Just Add a Vendor for it the Customizing Mount Area!

As of 20/04/2024, these are still bugged sadly. I’ve opened multiple tickets, submitted many bug reports. I’ve even attempted doing the achi on an alt to see if it worked but nothing. I really hope that this gets fixed soon! Been waiting for these scales this the mount came out!

Thowing my hat in as another who hasn’t received this item, apparently I got the achievement 25/1/24 well before the achievement existed, can’t help but wonder if that has something to do with it.

I’ve still not got them either. I got the achievement the day it was added as I’d already completed the criteria for it but still no scales to date.

Have also completed this achievement before 10.2.6. I still do not have the Black Scales for my Nether Drake. Please fix this blizzard already…
