I recently did a faction change from Horde to Alliance with my mage. I played the MoP starter quests up to the point of where you first meet a warlock that escapes. After the video where Alliance soldiers shoot Horde swimmers and Rell is cured of the sha, Rell disappears and I cannot continue the quest line. Can you help me?

" If you want to complete a quest you had in progress prior to the faction change, you must visit the quest giver to pick up the quest again and start it over."
I tried, but the quest giver is not there, no one is, I can’t find anyone

This is the Horde chain into Pandaria, all wowhead quests have a script on them so you can see if you completed it
The first quest in the chain would be
See if you’ve already completed this by typing:
/run print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(29611))
You’d need to work your way through the chain until you find a result that comes up false.

I tried the Alliance path and the quest Envoy of the Alliance came false but I still can’t find the NPC, he just doesn’t show up

My bad I realised you transferred the other way so my link was for the wrong faction.
The most common issues when trying to find an NPC in SW/Org is overlap with another quest causing phasing.
This is the Alliance starter quest
See if you’ve already completed this by typing:

Yes, that came up as true, so quest line has started. Still no NPC in Pandaria though

There were four quests total.

They are all true, so the problem appears in Pandaria, in the Envoy of the Alliance quest, that is false
I found the Retail version has more steps, for both the intro and the part you are on now. Hopefully you can find one of these is a missing step before that one.
As someone who has faction changed several times in the past, you have my sympathy, some things are a complete nightmare to work out.

I’m glad that you have spent time helping me, it really means a lot to me. As far as I can tell, the Envoy of the Alliance is the trouble spot, all quests after that are false

That’s really peculiar, you need Admiral Rogers to accept the quest from, can you try this location? - shoreline north of Paw’don village, near a small Ally boat
The rest of the npcs should show up afterwards.
Thanks for the advice but I found not the Admiral or anyone else. This is a weird bug alright
Hm, ok last one - port to Stormwind, talk to recruiter Burns and choose “I’ve misplaced my ship”
And a nothing, he just stands there and says nothing, thanks for the idea though.
