I recently went back to playing wow. I haven’t played since 2009 or so.
I renewed my monthly subscription and instaled the game.
However I cannot find any of my old characters.
I’ve been reading some topics on the subject but I can’t understand what is wow 1 and wow 2.
I also tried to refresh the realms but it didn’t work.
Can someone help me? have they been deleted for so long inactivity?
ps. I can’t remember the realm exactly but i think was Grim Batol.

Have you tried this? Restoring your chars.
Yes. It says that there is no character deleted.
Most common causes are that you are checking wrong realms or wrong WoW account.
- Check all realms just in case. The realm list does not update characters until you actually log on to the realm.
- Make sure you are checking the correct WoW account. Battlenet account can have multiple wow accounts (WoW1, WoW2 etc. or username if you had pre-Battlenet account). Check all realms for all accounts. You don’t need to have subscription to check the realms for characters.
If you reactivated wrong WoW account you can contact CS and ask for refund. Do not play using the wrong account if you want refund.
