I wanted to queue for gamma dungeons but found out that my gear score was not enough. After inspecting my character (Azenel on Cataclysm Firemaw) I found out that one of the rings my character had equipped previously was missing. I looked through item restoration but couldn’t find it there either. I don’t remember the exact name of the ring but its item level was enough to qualify for a gamma dungeon.
I already opened a ticket about the same issue. I had never had anything like this happen before.
If it’s not in restoration did you check your bank? How long ago did you last notice it?
