My Timerunner is missing the Unraveling Sands abilty to scrap gear while out in the world. It’s not in the spellbook or can I use a /cast command to get it.

I have the same issue. I haven’t seen any information on how to solve this.

I’ve Discovered a work around / fix for your issue.
Here is the working fix. Let me know how you get on

/cast [nocombat] [@cursor] Unraveling Sands
Thanks for trying, but it only brought back the button. The ability itself is still unusable. It doesn’t show the tooltip of the ability. Only it’s name.
That is bizarre. It’s a shame how buggy Legion Remix currently is.

I’m unsure of what your issue could be. Perhaps Dragging the ability to a unused space on your hotbar prior to clicking the macro will allow it to function as a spell again rather than a “Extra Action Button” allowing the macro to function.
Tried but also not working. It just says: ‘Unraveling Sands’ with ‘Instant’ below it. Nothing else. Feels like the ability was never properly added to my character.
From what you describing it does seem like the most likely reason.

I thnk the issue might be related to the introductionairy skip. That character did skip the Dalaran part.
