Mist of Pandaria Remix - Claw of Shirvallah talent

Does anyone know if the mancat skin will be back?

As a druid talent or maybe a collectable form?

Wasn’t Claw of Shirvallah a WoD thing? I’m pretty use this form used altered Saberon model, and Sabreon were added in WoD.

Yip, it was WoD. Although like MoP was generally hated at the time and then became popular afterwards.

Don’t know. Don’t think so. Also, it triggers PTSD.

I played feral druid PvP at the time and I hated that thing.

It was ugly of course - looking like a pre-release Zul’Gurub boss no doubt modelled in 2003, put into the midst of a 2014 game world, but that wasn’t the worst part. They did in fact not use the saberon model, however they were called saberons regardless. Why did they do this? I don’t know.

The worst part is it took out shapeshifting. You just didn’t need to leave cat form anymore. Combined with the prune, this made for a feral druid with more keybinds but fewer abilities. The idea of the class - which was the switch between forms to use their inherent powers to form a greater whole, was removed.

I wrote yesterday evening that the prune failed not because it was a prune, but because of things like that. Unfortunately it appears to have been removed, but Claws of Shirvallah is a perfect example of what went wrong.

EDIT: Yep, they deleted it. Most likely because the OP got reported for agreeing with Asmongold. Sigh.

Oh ur right its a WoD talent, my bad

Might have been thinking about the Kung fu panda movie - with the tiger lookalike there

Yes, but Saberon use the Worgen skeleton.
