Mistakenly bought the wrong pvp item

i dont even care anymore.

Is this one of those I pay so I want you to break the companies rules posts?

I thought those items had a two hour sellback window?

I suspect upgrading it removes the sellback, though there would have been a warning telling them that upgrading it will remove the ability to return it. I don’t PvP so I have no way of checking, but I doubt very much that there is no warning that upgrading it will remove the ability to change your mind. It could be one of those popups people just click yes to without reading them.

Edit:
I just watched a Youtube of upgrading Conquest gear. When you upgrade there is a warning that the item will become soulbound.

Sorry Lenadra, you acknowledged this warning and the game masters will not overide your choice to proceed.

Isn’t it already soulbound? Shouldn’t that warning say it will be unrefundable?

Well you can sell it back to vendor, but only for gold, not for the original currency.

I can understand Blizzard’s stance on it. Especially when the neck is actually called a Necklace and the Rings are called Rings (Rather than bands and the other variants)… buying the wrong item is a mistake, there is functionality to help with that, but then upgrading it where the item name is shown again and a warning provided…

That would indeed suit better with the wording they used in the Patch Notes of Jan 22th;

  • Upgrading a PvP item by spending Honor will now remove the ability to refund that item.

doesnt matter

Buyers remorse has never been a valid reason for a refund.

That applies to real life as well as games.

Imagine, all this would have been avoided if you had actually paid closer attention to the item you were buying. I think this is the lesson to be learnt.

That’s not nice.

I would never call anyone an idiot. Just inattentive, I’ve bought the wrong thing myself before so now like carpentry I look twice and buy once, if you will excuse the paraphrasing.

Unless the shoes are faulty, or you bought them online (distance selling regulations), then the onus is on you to ensure that you bought the right size. Its down to the discretion of the store if they refund.

My point stands.

In the UK you have no legal right to get a refund on those shoes, unless it’s an online purchase.

You can only get a refund from a store if they are faulty, not because you got the wrong size.

Sorry I edited while you were posting Trovlak

Same in the UK, you didn’t mention anything about your shoe purchase being online. Still, it’s Blizzards policy not to refund your items and even in special circumstances it can’t be done.

I don’t know what the rules are in your country for completely ingame currencies.

While an unfortunate mistake it is their policy:

Customer Support does no refund items.

Asking support to do something they’re not allowed to do is futile as they don’t make the rules.

I don’t agree. If they have to correct player mistakes all the time then it increases support workload significantly. So their policy is such that they do not undo stuff like that.
