I 10000% agree, looking at other healers, where i’m struggling, they have like 75% + and i look the fool.

I usually avoid creating drama or complaining but I wish blizzard would step into my shoes when I let down 23 of my guildmates today.
fistweaving seems the only choice that doesn’t rely on innervates and it requires a legendary that basically gives me back a talent monks had by default in the past, while I do a (limited) melee DPS rotation WHILE being a healer.
I fancy myself an at least above average player and today I kept failing more mechanics than I did in my past 8 years of raiding while still performing below the other healers.

I started raiding as a mw monk in ny’alotha, i noticed then that we had some mana issues but nothing to major with mana pots, lucid dream essensce etc. Even if we were technaclly the worst healer then, a good mw could atleast pull ahead as long as u just played well.
Now its just awful… plain and simply just always struggling with mana even when really going out of my way to keep the mana flow up by timing very good mana teas etc. But its just. ot enought, not even close… I don’t wanna have to be the guy spamming my fellow druids constantly about innervates just to make myself more aline with an actual healer and their mana usage.
If things don’t get better soon i’m highly considring switching main once again… I’m not becoming a sv hunter kind of spec, i wanna feel useful and not just a reliance to my group
It would really suck, as i find everything about the mistweaver and its rotation/theme etc so amazing.
Pls blizz! Listen to us mistweavers! I see a ton of these posts and nothing has come out of it

It is rather painful.

I’m not sure it’s much more painful than for other healers, by my own raiding experience, but then I’m using Ancient Teachings and have run Rising Mist for over a year, so it kind of just fit with my normal instincts. I would say most other healers in my group are maybe 10-20% higher on mana than I am, while delivering similar output. I do regularly see our holy priest run out before I do, so we aren’t alone.

Something that does hurt is how hard I’m avoiding haste because of mana issues. I cannot ‘waste’ stat space on something that will drain me faster and absolutely have to choose items that will make me heal more per cast. Which means that those Vivifies and Enveloping Mists really do take ages to get out.

Really missing Lucid Dream and Maut’s trinket. Was great having both of those last patch, almost never ran dry.

sure, many complaints about MW can be passed off as a l2p issue but it doesn’t change the fact that the spec is mechanically broken.
the kyrian ability, mastery, “bis” legendary, essence font and renewing mist, they all buff enveloping and vivify but we don’t actually have the mana to use it. fistweaving looks great at first and you’ll be topping the meters on low damage fights where healers are doing 5k because your smart heals “snipe” the damage, but once the raid damage rises the others will go over 6-7k consistently without breaking a sweat.
sure, I’ve seen mistweavers do as much, but usually it involves innervates or popping revival to steal irrelevant damage.
all in all it feels like players are trying to find ways to fix what blizzard has broken, not simply “learn their spec”
