With the resent buffs and nerfs and changes to Mistweaver moving into 12.1 epecially regarding Mastery [Gusts of Mist]. I am abit baffled what these changes want to achieve ?
Firstly in the last couple of Seasons Blizzard has stripped down Mastery Proccing abilities Essence Font Removed and also Vivify + Revival is Removed as a Proc for our Mastery…
The remaining Mastery procs are from Renewing and Enveloping which don’t really Synergize with how Mastery is supposed to be used..
Further Procs and modifiers are from Fistweaving on a off chance of getting a proc from SCK and BK (trough a talent..) + Guranteed Procs on RSK + MB modifier (which got nerfed as it was too high).
My Suggestion now is as with all the Nerfs + the increase in 25% Increased Dmg Taken + Health increase - that we:

Either return Vivify baseline as a Mastery Proc .

OR the bigger outlier imo is the Talent Capstone Emperor’s Favor which has almost no use as one of it’s effects has been made Obsolete with the change of Soothing Mist ability to insta cast on the move - the Change would be to make SG proc Gusts of Mist if talented into Emperor’s Favor.
Secondly our Apex Talent - atm it still feels underwhelming unless we specc into the new talent Vital Expenditure, speccing into it brings the issue that if you want to play a caster build you have to give up one of the best Talents as it’s on the same node as Dancing Mist..
Idk why we can’t just tune the numbers of the Apex Talent itself or even better as we are being pushed into Mastery why not make it so it procs our Mastery in a way like double proccing a Gust (like essence font used to!) .
I hope someone in the Dev Team gets to see this and think about it - obviously it’s not healthy to shift too much into a playstyle and Mw always has been the most fun when multiple playstyles are competitive but atm the tunings just make no real sense with how gutted mastery is + the Tier Set is not a sole Fistweaving Tierset as it still has a modifier for RWK (which favors more into Caster/Hybrid builds).
