Mistweaver Monk possible Jade Serpent Statue bug?

So I started play Mistweaver again after Shadowlands came out, (so I now how to heal with monk), and I just ran first time a Theatre of Pain dungeon where I noticed a furstrating thing. My Jade Statue sometime doesn’t want to channel with me. Not always just in random times. I don’t had a debuff or anything else, so I thought it was weird.
It’s just me or anyone else experienced similar?

Update: I noticed when I just simply leave my statue behind and place a new one, the old one don’t disappear. I can put down infinite statue what doesn’t heal at all.

Same prob. Thought it’s only visual, but none of them was willing to heal. The 7th or 8th was doing something but the amount of healing wasn’t like it has to be. :I
Hope they fix it soon or this talent is unplayable.

yes I noticed the same. You have to dismiss your past statue before putting a new one. In fact only the first one is healing so if you are far away it will not heal and the new one is not considered if you don’t release the other before. I hope it get fixed quickly

Thanks the answers. I hope too they’ll fix it soon

Thank god!
I’m coming from my first evening trying mw in dungeons and I noticed this aswell. Glad to see I’m not the only one suffering from this bug, though not a lot of people seem to have noticed it. And it’s not a visual bug. I was going mad.
I’m relogging into the game at the moment to report this in a proper manner. Let’s hope Blizzard notices it soon and fixes it before Season 1 starts.

Why are you playing this spec?

If the devs cared about Mistweavers, you’d still have Chi, Stances and no GCD on soothing mist.

This has been hotfixed now, apparently had to do with your mistweaver cooldown yu’lon or whatever

Just relogged in to check it out and it’s not fixed yet.

Welp. That does suck, since the hotfix mentioned jade serpent statue interraction bla bla. Shame.

No, the hotfix only mentions the bm’s statue Niuzao and some other issues with the ww. The mw’s jade statue bug is still unnoticed, apparently.

  • Resolved an issue with the interaction between having both Summon Jade Serpent Statue (Talent) and Invoke Yu’lon, the Jade Serpent active.

From the hotfix page

Yeah but that was a different bug about an interaction with both abilities xD. This one is prolly just one day old and prolly appeared just after they “fixed” that one.

Lmao. Right.

I don’t play mistweaver that much, so never stumbled upon it, so thought this was a fix for that.

It’s still bugged. Can only summon 1 now but it doesn’t even cast soothing mist most of the time.

Still bugged. I have to dismiss the past statues so that the new one would work. Sometimes it would dismiss the old one automatically, but even with that the new ones doesn’t work.

I have the same bug. :frowning:

I think its the dungeon thats bugged itself tbh

As warlock when i use the hooks to get higher i automaticly place 2 gates instantly where i land

After reading around a bit I was able to sort of figure out what causes this bug. If you place the first statue it should heal fine, however every other statue you replace it with will most likely won’t heal at all. To counter this I have written a really primitive macro which is the following:

#showtooltip Summon Jade Serpent Statue
/click TotemFrameTotem1 RightButton
/cast Summon Jade Serpent Statue

I am not that great with macros so feel free to upgrade it or anything, however it fixed the problem for me. What this does is it clears the previous statue before placing a new one. I tested it in a dungeon and now anytime I replace my statue with this macro it heals as intended every time. So this should provide a bit of help before the bug is fixed.
