i dont mind the burst being lowered but blizzard built the spec around doing big damage which is why you took haste from trueshot and made the cast time of aimed shot longer you have now taken the damage and arguably made the spec worse than it was in season 1 and i enjoyed it in season 1.
give the trueshot haste back and the old aimed shot cast time also give me my pet back!
One big factor as to why we dident see MM in AWC is due to rogues. If you remove the rogues you could slap a random rival MM hunter in there n he´d kill the mages while backpaddling.
Mage prevents warrior from being picked, rogue prevents hunter from getting picked as they simply cover eachothers weaknesses as they have for 20 years.
As such AWC is far more about teamcomps than it is about individual class n spec power. If they removed rogue from AWC we´d instantly see a ton of other classes appear n mage would appear alot less by default as locks are kinda mehh atm leaving mage with no great teammate except for feral.
i dont understand what your trying to do here your reading too far into what i said it was a general term im sure lots of them were in the open qaulifers so if you want to nit pick yes people tried to play it but its not anywhere near being able to compete with other said classes your point is mute.
sure but if you want to think this way seems a little weird since the only reason mm hunter sometimes does well in shuffle or other settings is because people dont press spells and play like they are out on day release you cant balance a class around shuffle player brain lag.
idk mage is a very strong flex pick on its own, we had monk mage and warrior mage being very popular set ups in favor of taking rogue over expansions, theres also wizards, if it wasnât for the fact melee were borderline brain damaged strong this expan it would probably see more play.
It gets walked over by even bad hunters though, i suppose it could work with a warrior who can pressure the hunter aswell but it needs a teammate to relieve pressure from certain classes. Even a warrior will bite off its arms if it makes contact.
I do think mage is cancer though so im happy about the nerfs. Rogues are far more oppressive though. Let me play my damn character.
They have the longest range in the game, cant be interrupted, and opens from stealth which can easily do 6m+ dmg in one GCD. If all else fail they can run around spamming rapid fire n still sustain damage equal to alot of classes without even using aimed shot.
Ontop of that it has disgustingly good defensives. There is no reason aimed shot should hit harder than chaos bolt while being immune to kick.
MM is doing well at top ratings so your take of pressing defensives is flawed. Its like the rets from retpocalypse accidentally globalling 3 people n telling people to respect wings. Silly garbage design that somehow manages a more degenerate gameplay loop than fury.
My AS crits anywhere between 800k and 3,5m, while my bolts hit (they donât âcritâ) do so for 4-8m.
The issue is the global potential of AS->RF, and RF benefitting from server lag, so it goes through walls and continues even when youâre technically out of range.
