Hey guys am lvlin a MM hunter alt, am wondering what is the best tanking pet for delves. Am only around 580 so i wanna have a tanking pet to take some of the heat off me wile i run 8’s
Are the Northrend spirit pets still strong or are they now just cosmetic ?
Hi, mate. I personally use turtle in the delve, I find it the tankiest.
Turtle, as all tenacity pets, has +5% extra health and gives this same buff to you.
Turtle has a shell ability, that reduces damage taken by 50% for 10 seconds with only 1 minute cooldown. if you put it on automatic use, your turtle will use it whenever it reaches 30% or 40% health.
One of my favorite (albeit a bit risky) combos is to pull quite a bit of trash, press turtle’s shell + survival of the fittest (it reduces also pet’s damage taken), then use misdirection + trueshot and annihilate that pack with my burst damage, while picking Brann’s potions to keep my pet alive drinking Bran’s potion restores both your health and the health of your pet).
