Since a couple of days ago, we got confirmation about multiple mobile projects being worked on by some of Blizzard's best developers across all IPs, what can we expect?
I'm really excited about a Pet battle game where you collect battle pets in real life. I think there was a similar game released in 2016, but I can not remembers its name. Anyway, I think this is the perfect mobile WoW experience we can have. Toughts?

Ain't gunna happen. And by the way, I don't want it, but that doesn't colour my response at all. The devs are honourably keeping pet battles up, and I think the hours of playtime invested by players in them justifies that, but they show exactly zero sign of wanting to expand on what we have.

From the revenue point of view, extending any form of WoW pet battling to a mobile brings in zero marginal subs and negligible extra activity.

I could easily see Warcraft characters and lore being used in some type of mobile game, but it will not be part of WoW.

Not GO but honestly? I wouldn't mind some pet battle app for mobile.. Maybe expand on the system they abandoned long ago and add a form of stats and breeding.

Wow related mobile game is gonna happen, whenever we like it or not, blizzard has made it clear they want to cash in on the 8 y/o abusing their mum's credit card.. So we might aswell try to make the best of it.. lest we get "Mobile of Betacraft - Battle for Caching!"

Oh it’s 100% going to happen, I mean why do you think they took out the AH off the app? They’re clearly reworking it.

That stuff is fine, no in app purchases ect, bring them on.

If they released something for wow related content via mobile and it has “offers in app purchases” I’ll definitely NOT be buying and if it has anything to do with wow PC version I’d be unsubbed quicker than you’d know.

Mobile games are like putting the milk in a cup of tea before the water... disgusting and wrong.

Many people have suggested this but I don't see how it would work. Would it be tied to your WoW account or just be a separate game altogether? Because if it's tied to your WoW account how does the app let your character travel from tamer to tamer without actually playing the game? If it teleports your character it seems kinda cheaty.

So I'd only see it working as a new, stand-alone game not linked to your actual in-game pet roster and you don't actually battle the in-game tamers...

Mobile games will happen, there is no way of escaping it. While pc and laptop gamesr are screaming foul, end of the day this company is a corporation and if they investors are demanding more mobile games and profits, then they will do this.

i think that it would have exackly 0 impact on endgame why should anyone be against it if they decided to do it.

i see only benefits dont you ? i personaly like collecting pets just dont have any time to ever level them (or collect them -_-)

didint you enjoy legion companion app though ? i know i did and made many milions of gold from playing it this way :) enough to buy all shop items during legion :)

what if mobile game would give same benefits ? would you mind it ?

Then do not play the mobile app, no one is forcing you to install it and play it. The same goes for any game out there.

I didn’t enjoy it, Plus the companion app is nothing like a mobile game, it’s not required to play the game, it’s just helpful.
