Moderation in game need a Boost

Just finished a Dawnbreaker +10

  • we timed it
  • No one died because of me
  • No wipe
  • we had 5-7 death because of dps aggroing someting or pulling before tank
  • I PI-ed the good people, checking my damage meter

People who did mistake recieved no comment or awful words

What did i get at the end of the dungeon?

"can I ask you something healer?

when did you give back your pc to your boyfriend?"

“woman mad”

“woman moment”

“woman period”

Sometime I recieve racist comments or seeing racist things against other people in M+

Can we have a moderation and ban these people?

I m even not a woman but I can tolerate this behavior in the game, trashing people about their gender, nationnality etc.

Thanks blizzard

If you reported them, Blizzard will investigate their behaviour.

It’s generally not their first rodeo when they’re saying such things anyway.

best thing to do is ignore them and Report!

I wish we had FF14 blacklist.
If you blacklist 1 charcter It’s entire account will get added and you wont be able to even see their charcters in game.
If some how you get in a party with them they will appear “nameleass” charcter and you know they are X idividual that you don’t want to play with.

That’s what you get for playing a female character when in reality you’re a guy.

It’s a joke don’t lynch me.

I also play a female character and I have never received that kind of comments. :man_shrugging:t2:

given how you act on the forums i doubt you are innocent.

But I dont harass&stalk people, me.

People say this BS in real life too…

Except that there is no “ignore button” in real life. So you got your ingame moderation right there.

Also… I am generally against “Daddy blizz” policing things. We are all adults. Its not hard to simply ignore the trolls.

They will die alone anywais with that attitude. Its enough punishment.

do not belive that either i mean you are banned on french forums

I have, and it’s a funny story!

So during Dragonflight Season 3 me and 2 of my guildies join a premade of 2 people from Blackmoore for a key. Nothing too extreme, something in the low 10s (equivalent to today’s +2 or +3 I guess). First run goes very well, so we do 2 more keys. Very smooth runs all of them, keys easily timed, banter in the chat, quite fun times.

During the 3rd run one of the 2 people from Blackmoore starts being too friendly to me out of nowhere. At the end of the run he even adds me as a friend. I think “Well ok, now I have more friends to group up with for stuff”.

Next day, within the first few seconds of logging on, I get a message “Hey, my new favourite person in WoW has logged in :D. How are you darling?”. At this point I started worrying that he somehow thinks I’m a woman. So in order to clear any misunderstanding before something wrong happens, I reply something along the lines of “Yeah, I just finished working on something in the toolshed”. No reply for a few minutes. After a bit I receive: “Just to be clear, you are a woman, right? Because your friends yesterday referred to you as she”. I reply “No, I’m a man, they probably referred to my character who is female”. And then I get a nasty reply with some curse words and before I get to reply he had already put me on ignore.

Turns out that playing a female character of one of the more attractive in-game races and being a healer somehow makes some people think you’re a woman.

That kind of people is just pathetic. This is how I imagine them (And I’m probably right):

As a woman, getting snarky and sexist comments in games, sadly, is a very common and normal thing. Ask any other woman, they’ll tell you the same thing. It’s just something we learn to live with. Especially if you do good, it hurts their manhood to know that a girl is better than them at something ig :woman_shrugging:

Imagine replace “woman” by black or other minority.

Do you think it still normal and we need to deal with it?

No

7 days ban then 30 days then permaban

This game needs to be pacified

Trust me if i am in your group, its always my fault, i hate when people blame each other, just blame me and be done with it, its like you aren’t even allowed to make mistakes, and then people get mad at each other like oh my god grow up already, its just a game.

Impossible to make friends in this game, i am doomed to become even more depressed.

I don’t think women deserve that harsh a punishment.

Imagine replace “woman” by white or man, same thing.

Toxicity towards other players should be harshly punished.
The automatic system from blizzard filled with Ai is a failure and doesn’t work.

No one needs those kind of players, if they are toxic a second time = perma ban.
