It can already dig its way through space from Outland and through time from Draenor.

Never underestimate dark iron ingenuity. Interstellar mole machines can tunnel into the afterlife no problem.

hopefully they at least add locations to BFA content
It makes me wonder if dark irons exploring the Maw are the reason for the Jailer having a hole in his chest.
