Where can i find the icon for the mole machine? Or do i have to be a certain level of the iron dwarf?

Mole machine should be unlocked with character creation, at level 10. You should find it in the General tab in your spellbook, along with the other racials.

Keep in mind that the mole machine will only be able to transport you to a couple of select places at first. I think this is the Dark Iron starting area in the BRD as well as SW and/or IF. You can unlock a nice variety of other locations along the way if you pay attention. Or check Wowhead if you want to cheese it.
Unfortunately Blizzard have completely abandoned this cool little ability. You won’t find any mole machine locations in BfA or SL zones. I hope they bring it back with DF. Even if I don’t really play a DID it is such a unique and cool flavour ability.
