I see no DH playing anything other than demonic, is momentum really that bad? It’s such a fun playstyle but disheartening if it really isn’t good enough to be picked by anyone

One thing I notice about this game is that most people want to play the absolute top performing spec or class even if they’re not doing the highest level content. Meanwhile, the people who are doing the highest level content are saying that, for the vast majority of people, the best class/spec to play is the one you enjoy the most.

Momentum promotes the pepega playstyle that in most cases ends up killing your party/raid, leading to wipes, failed m+ keys and so on and so forth. Fel rush and vengeful retreat are infredibly useful tools in both raids and dungeons to get out of sticky situations. Using them for anythin else just makes you more vulnerable to random stuff.
This is true, I am absolutely not doing top end content but equally I don’t want to feel like I’m hindering myself massively by chosing a talent that is a lot of fun but not worth taking over something considerably better
