In my opinion monks should’ve been made with 4 specs.
There’s four celestials, I know chi ji and yulon are covered with mistweaver but I would’ve loved to have seen a rangers 4th spec that throws out chi orbs similar to zenyata from overwatch.
Maybe tiger could be ranged, yulon healer, ox tank and crane melee.
Assuming they will add more support classes. I would like a bard style spec.

A fourth spec could be a support spec called “Cranedancer”. Making mistweaver all about healing and cranedancer could heal some by melee, buffing or debuffing by using certain chi-spells. I personally think that the meleeusage by mistweavers is awkward and I guess there are many others that have the same opinion.
Or just a support spec that uses all the celestials at some point.
Yep. Nice for you that you think this, but all currently playing mistweaver, playing it because of this unique playstile. If you want to stand in the back hardcasting heals play holy priest instead.
