Monk pvp nerfs and buffs makes no sense, considering monk playstyle

They didn’t like how much burst ww monks could do, so they nerfed strike of the wind lord by 30%, then buffed blackout kick and tiger palm by 15% each.

But here’s the thing… monks are hands down the most squishy melee class at the moment. We can’t survive toe to toe against any other melee. We need to dodge in and out, depend on mobility to avoid damage, then dart in and deal some damage in bursts when we have it.

So compensating for wind lord nerf by buffing two abilities that we have to stay in melee range constantly to use is pretty much just getting shafted.

I went 1v1 against a feral. I’m fairly geared, with 414 pvp ilvl, but this feral put his bleeds on me, and I had to use fortifying brew instantly. That did very little, so I used touch of karma too.
The druid, on the other hand, just hopped into bear form and let the bleeds kill me while tanking all my burst, which got him to about 50%.

I can agree that monk burst was too strong and needed a nerf. But if we are going to be less bursty, we need to be able to survive longer than 2 globals against other melee. So maybe make us less squishy too.
