I’ve just returned to the game and trying to figure everything out again.
I’m playing Resto Druid and trying to stay in Moonkin form is impossible right now. Whenever I try to do any healing actions it just goes straight out of the form. Does anyone know why this is? Thanks.
It’s because most of your healing spells take you out of Moonkin form. It’s designed that way.

Moonkin Form that you get from Balance Affinity is not meant to be a permanent form for other specs. As Resto, you can cast Lunar Strike and Starsurge only in Moonkin form, and most healing spells will take you out of Moonkin Form.
As a Balance Druid with Resto Affinity, Regrowth is the only healing spell I have natively. All other healing spells are from Resto Affinity. So casting Rejuvination or Wild Growth takes me out of Moonkin Form.
TLDR: Regrowth is the only healing spell you can cast in Moonkin Form.
