Bringing this topic back up again as i feel the argument is still valid. If we did all gold challenge modes in MoP could we get account wide gear unlocks for all our classes. They gave us account wide WoD challenge mode unlocks, and gave us account wide challenge mode mounts and titles, is it too much to ask to receive unlocks on our other toons, i quite often change my main character and it would be great to use those sets considering we unlocked them back in the day.

Fair point, that I completely understand, i did it on a few characters but there’s a couple of my toons that i would love to have the unlocks for. I can’t imagine the minority of people that did it across all the classes would have a huge issue, but it will be interesting to see people’s opinions on it. Thanks for your reply

No thanks, I did it on mu paladin therefore my paladin has the set.
With this, if I rolled a rogue I’d get it on that? Seems wrong and unearned. You’re essentially asking for a vanity item that says “I did this on this character” to be unlocked when in reality you didnt do it.
So if you earn a meta achievement on your paladin, should you not get to use that meta mount on your other characters? Everything is account wide nowadays.

I can transmog unobtainable items that existed only in vanilla, on all my characters. Only one character obtained it.

because the set are really rare and so they must remain like this just dont change the past and lave things as they are, the mounts are account wide so is enough
its not right that you unlock a set on every pg because you did in one, the challenges had been made for this purpose and leave them the uniqueness of those times
for me they can do it but post like this have been made on wod legion etc and blizzard just dont gad so why now and not in these 5 years
The rewards shouldn’t have been removed in the first place.
You’re forgetting Blizzard lifted CLASS restrictions on Naxx 40 pieces over a decade after it’s release. I can’t see why this scenario is much different

yes in this case you right with black market ah (i buy all of those on my warrior back in mop lol, and that was not right for ppl that played it back in the day) but seems like blizzard dont want to to this with mop cm…we had only a remake of those in legion order hall they were similar but not the same i mean we cant do nothing is a blizzard choice

Randomly getting items out of nowhere that you never acquired makes little sense otherwise.

What do you mean make them available to everyone? I’m talking about people who did the full gold challenge modes, allowing unlocks across their other classes. Not people who never did it in the first place now getting to use them.

Why not? It’s old content anyway, who cares if everyone else gets them too.
Would make more sense than getting items that you never earned, but only to some people.

No, people who didn’t complete them have missed out. I just find it strange how in every aspect of the game what you do on your main is always shared with your alts, e.g. mounts, cosmetics. But this is one part they have never lifted restrictions on

Do the items look identical? If so, then sure. If they don’t, then no.
edit: What I mean by that, is that only items explicitly meant as class-wide should be extended to cover your alts when you do the content with 1.
My only regret with mop challenge modes is i got the shaman one and not the priest one.
I rarely use the shaman one whereas i’d use the priest one.
