MoP class design is superior to shadowlands

Ok so your argument is “people know what’s good mop is the true thing” and then you proceed to call people who ask for you to explain why idiots. Nice

Yep. Take it or leave it. Less competent people have destroyed this game cause they didn´t know better. No one sane would wreck the class design of MoP in favor of braindead simplicity of Legion. WoD was just a transition. Or do you consider DH good design?

But yeah if you don´t understand why MoP was good, you should look in the mirror really.

Yeah don’t bother, the guy is an absolute moron and he’s making a thread about this nonsense every couple of days

Yeah my IQ is about 130, so hardly a moron. If you don´t appreciate MoP class design you just might be a moron yourself though.

Ah okay, I see, thanks for the heads up. To be honest, I am not going to discuss with anyone calling me an idiot after all I’ve done was asking for explanations because I literally haven’t played mop ever so I can’t possibly know how it’s better or worse.

Cheers!

MoP was better cause classes had more tools, took more skill to set up damage overall, were better balanced etc etc. Hard to explain to someone who hasn´t played WoW prior to WoD. WoD and Legion practically took a sledgehammer to the class design that had evolved organically for 10 years.

This wasn´t intended to be a discussion so much as a reminder to the devs what was the golden age of wow class design. Sorry for being blunt.

Yes, with a druid in the party. We did some pretty big pulls in challenge modes that we couldn’t have done if I didn’t get solar beam from the feral druid’s symbiosis.

Na lol, MOP classes had way too much utility and way too much CC. It was a mess. MOP had some strengths for sure, but I do not for one second think it was the best era of class design.

Mistweaver Monk and holy Paladin (only healers i played) were so fun in MOP and felt so good, i liked Mistweaver in Legion though too, i think it was because you could move and cast soothing mist… i loved it!

MoP had the most engaging class designer for warlocks… And he got fired.

It indeed had the best class design.

I checked back on it and almost cried how great it was as a ret.
The last time i really had fun in BGs and the awesome open world PvP area, fighting for the small raid.

I agree
Class design for all classes peaked during MoP
every single spec you played felt like a demigod,
but it then went downhill from there.

Perhaps having too much fun isn’t a good enough model in a subscription based game according to Blizzard entertainment.

Symbiosis was a disease that should never be brought back to the game, ever. Other than that, sure, it was nice. The netcoding back then was not nice though. They didn’t stabilize it until WoD s3.

Calling people that just because they have a different taste?
Sheesh. That’s some PvP mentality there.

:relaxed:

Anyway… I’ve always only cared about BM hunter and I’ve always liked BM hunter.
I must admit, I’ve loved it just a bit more since we’re able to have 2 pets. So there’s that.
As for balance, I don’t care. I just want to have fun.

Do you honestly think WOD pruning did kill classes ? Let’s be serious here, Legion is the actual prunning expansion. I mean, we lost half of our toolkits coming from WOD to Legion. If anything, wod kept most of MOP specs mechanics by removing some useless dumb spells.

WOD didn’t prune classes, Legion did.

As far as I’m concerned WOD destroyed my mage.

Agreed. MoP had the absolute best class design, followed by WoD at the second place.
