MoP class design is superior to shadowlands

I´d urge you to take another look at what made MoP class design and pvp so good. But you won´t, will you?

MoP was the best. Period.

Here is a link proving WoD (not just Legion) pruned A LOT for those misremembering or doubting: https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-us/news/15682579/the-iron-tide-602-patch-notes#ability_prune

Why ? Explain like I’ve never played mop.

What made the classes better ? I wasn’t here and only saw the occasional videos from back then but it’s kind of hard to understand just from that.

I think it was because every class was really OP, and it made you feel really cool and powerful.

I may be wrong there, so correct me if I’m wrong.

WoD was peak class design for a lot of classes. I really liked the pretty much non-dot shadow priest. Enhancement shaman felt really good to play in WoD as well.

Ah fair enough. I feel like in the process of going from warlords to legion many spells disappeared, and I use to love deep freeze and stuff.

I think that’d be cool, I’m all for more buttons for all classes,

LOL. WoD was terrible. The pruning destroyed most classes.

Yeah, everthing felt great cause you had lots of cool tools, you know pre pruning. Also OPness is relative, so even though everyone was very powerful, no one was OP for that same reason. I know many have problems understanding this fact, but being overpowered is always relative. Yeah takes, a bit of IQ to understand, but please try.

It really wasn’t as far as class design goes.

I don’t think his two neurons can process new information.

It´s not fair enough, people preferring WoD to MoP class design wise have no clue what makes wow good. Sorry, but ask every good pvper (or anyone else who is knowledgeble) which was best of WoD and MoP, I guarantee you almost everyone prefers MoP classes.

It absolutley was compared to MoP.

MoP enhancement shaman felt bad to play compared to WoD enhancement, so no.

Yeah right, one spec. You know enhance was one of few specs that weren´t pruned. So it counts in my favor actually. It was basically MoP enhance, with 2 charges of lava lash and stormstrike.

Shadow priests got an entirely new playstyle in WoD that was far more fun than what they had in MoP, so lol.

I wouldn’t know, I barely played warlords and wasn’t around in mop

And still mop gets name dropped all the time, that’s fine, really, but it’d be better to have an actual, detailed explanation with examples on how it actually was better.

That´s not necessary, it has been discussed so many times. MoP being peak class design is a fact.

Sounds like an appeal to authority to me. Link videos discussions etc or do you just want to make some random rant and not really want to discuss anything ? I’m confused

Elemental shamans having an aoe silence was pretty broken and also being able to cast while on the move constantly was pretty broken as well.

It might be interpreted that way. I really mean when I say that many people don´t understand what makes wow class design or pvp good.

If you IQ is below 100 say, please don´t post regarding class design, cause you won´t understand.

It was not broken, elemental wasn´t OP. But it was FUN. Did they really have aoe silence? I don´t remember anything like that.
