was curious about mop bm and watched some videos about it; if that’s bm then wtf is this **** we are playing right now.
we are not even half of what we used to be, it’s so bad it feels intentional.
Give this one a go unless you’re talking about Brewmaster(BrM), not BM(Beastmaster).
The first Brewmaster was amazing but Blizzard doesn’t like that, same with WW. I’ve played those specs for a long time and now i can’t look at either without feeling that players got robbed of a great class.
ah… the days of building stacks to become super dodge machine 1000… and a huge shield on top of old stagger.
the good old days. what have they done to my boy?!
What you are playing in retail is an abomination of what brew used to be. Many of the fun aspects of it has been pruned, nerfed and/or deleted. AOE abilities are garbo and do no damage and threat, you have to single target dps rotation your way to victory on every pull and use a taunt macro on your statue to keep aggro. Keg smash is an 8 yard ability, so theres no point to press it on pull until you got everything gathered up already because it will just miss half the trash pack.
Fun abilities like Bonedust brew dont exist any more, the defensives are very lackluster to say the least and the self heal is laughable at best. The absorb shield ability is a joke.
The only thing you got going for you as a brewmaster is the reasonably good damage, but its not even the best at that either.
Talent tree is a mess. 5 talent points needed to play Niuzao?? lol thats a 3 minute cooldown thats mediocre that you have to spend 5 points in to be any usefull, and you cant afford to do that because then you will be so weak you cant even tank properly.
My best advice is to stop playing brewmaster. Why? because i tried for months on end myself along with many others to provide feedback, but it was ignored and its not going to change anytime soon, maybe next expansion? who cares. Just play something better like Demon Hunter
Sad but true. I’ve not given up on Monk yet, as I feel I ‘identify’ with the class the most, but i’ve made my boy into a Mistweaver for now.
I will jump back to BrM the moment it starts looking good again.
