Just wondering if there will be a new fresh pvp server for mop classic.
Right now for eu there are like 2 servers, Gehennas 99,99% horde, and firemaw 99,99% alliance.
For pvp enjoyers there would be nothing more sad then getting to timeless isle and see no other faction then your own.

We don’t need another playground for the people who just want to camp dungeon entrances as a 10 man raid for easy HKs

Look we have imbalance not only with factions realm wise, but also in PvE with Orcs and Trolls and in PvP with humans and night elves on top. Also wPvP started dying in Classic when BGs were unlocked, continued in TBCC with flying mounts and finally became relic of the past in Wrath with LFG tool teleporting players inside dungeons and instance. THhat I can tell you as player of the last populated PvP realm of European region.
Overall wPvP did only harm for the game, forcing even further realm disbalance and migrations untill almost every one of them became mono factional.
As for wPvP enjoyers there will be a toy that turns you into fiery yaungol spirit, that enables you to PvP with your own faction. You will be in minority however, something that wPvPers do not enjoy as they are simply gankers.

I support the idea that PvP servers should be merged / rebalanced and enforce a balance between Horde and Alliance, kind of like it does in Classic.
I see no reason not to implement this - if you’re on a PvP server, surely you’re there because you support the idea of world PvP?
It is players who wanted monofaction servers back in tbc classic, they used free transfers to make servers monofaction.
This means majority dont want balanced servers, they just like idea of pvp server when winning wpvp most of the time. When one side is less wpvp oriented, they start leaving server.
Balanced wpvp is just a dream.
They just need to merge all servers together or atleast Firemaw and Gehenas before MOP

Do I read goldseller/GDKP organiser panic in your lines? 15K is a good size realm and MoP is content wise a better expansion than Cataclysm. The worst Blizzard can do is to release it raw with features missing. For me a big no no would be exclusion of challenge mode dungeons, they were basicly the thing I kept playing Classic for after Wrath Classic.
There is no really any wpvp in cata because most players dont go anywhere outside org/sw, dungeon finder and raid (where you can be killed maybe 1 or 2 times at entrance but who cares, with flying mounts). Wpvp has no any point since WOTLK
FRESH is so 2020.
