About 3 hours ago, we deployed increased capacity to address the initial peformance issues.
About 15 minutes ago, we deployed a change that spread out players a bit more, to reduce congestion and latency out in the world.
We’re continuing to monitor conditions on all realms and we’re working urgently on issues as they arise.

The Mists of Pandaria Classic launch was very popular!
We’re working quickly to resolve server capacity and stability issues for some US and EU Classic Realms. We don’t currently have an ETA, but we hope to have it resolved shortly.
If you only fix some of the realms could you say which?
They have been laggy for the entire pre-patch so the fact a popular launch is surprising is a bit funny.
i did the plant and sprite quest in 30min solo, after that the rest of the zone is basically empty as of this moment. seems like 90% of all players are stuck on those 2 quests
So yeah, don’t do flying serpent kick as you can’t stop and it goes on for a lot longer than it should and will launch you off the edge, the same goes for roll. Well done Blizzard
Just make x10 spawn rate for quests “Forensick science” and “They’re so thorny” in Jade forest, looks like everybody is stuck for hours on these quests. 30-40 players try to gather flowers or pull mobs with 2 minutes or more respawn.
I don’t know. But Activision Blizzard
bilion dollars worth company, experienced expansion launch like how many times? 11, and another 4 on classic + countless more SoD etc…
There must be some guy who is responsible for this and can say “Yeah boys, every single launch was laggy, we need to improve something in code and server to handle these players, because we know MoP will be popular.”
Gues what… this guy doesn’t exists even after years.
Isn’t doing a same thing over and over again pure insanity?
Especialy instead fix and improve retail blizzard decided to split comunity.
Remove systems which ppl don’t like and keep which ppl like. Isn’t that hard especialy when you have professionals in team, propably best ones in the world.
