At this point, I’m genuinely curious: does the Classic team actually do anything? Like… do they show up to work? Or is this just a social experiment to see how long players will tolerate a completely broken game?
Let’s recap:
- Three full days of lag, where playing on Gehennas felt like connecting to a server on the other side of the planet.
- Then came the so-called “fix” that made it impossible to group with your friends because they were on a different layer
- Today’s genius move? Cut the number of layers in half, because clearly the problem was that things were running too smoothly.
Let’s not forget the dungeon finder, which has been broken since day one. You queue as a full 5-man group and you need to wait 2 mins to get in
And Challenge Modes? Literally unplayable the entire first week. Zero communication. Zero accountability.
This was, hands down, the worst leveling experience I’ve ever had in any version of WoW.
And what blows my mind is that it’s been a full week, and nothing’s fixed.
This isn’t early beta. This isn’t a stress test. This is the live game
Honestly, I’d love to believe someone at Blizzard still gives a damn about Classic, but at this point it just feels like no one’s even pretending to work anymore.
