I keep watching old videos of MoP Mistweaver and its really getting me down at how much we had and how much we have lost.
From the functionality of Manatea, Jade Serpent Statue functionality, melee healing, healing with chi torpedo, Zen sphere, teachings of the ancient monastery, eminence, even the mastery while not ideal was better than what we have now imo. The glyphs further help everything along nicely.
If we had this base toolkit with a few of the obvious good additions to the class over the years it would be playing nicely.
It actually makes me sad at how gutted and poorly synergising the current class is and how little we got back. Its even sadder that we are kinda getting some of these things back but as legendries. Even sadder that we will have to wait until the after shadowlands now to see any significant fixes or changes.
In fact it shows how they havent a clue about the direction they want us to go in. It seems they take away stuff and give back in a much worse way lol.
I am not saying MW is going to suck but to see how much had changed and not for the better is upsetting.
