MoP PvP Tabards and Illusions

Hello fellas!

  • So, I’ve been thinking about some suggestions for this expansion we had back in 2012

Tabards
This expansion didn’t have rewards in pvp for all 4 seasons when it comes to things like tabards and illusions (I know illuisions came later), but perhaps it’s about time to implement some rewards for the people who earned higher rating back then in retrospect. For instance design a tabard for each season missing:
Malevolent Gladiator’s Tabard (Does NOT exist)
Tyrannical Gladiator’s Tabard (Does exist)
Grievous Gladiator’s Tabard (Does exist)
Prideful Gladiator’s Tabard (Does exist)
Perhaps it’s time to design a tabard of the people who earned the respected rating in Season 12 (Malevolent) as they are left out of the equation?

Illusions
Last topic of disuccsion could be the missing Illusion rewards (Illusions came in WoD, but could be implemented retroactively, for those who earned the rating)
In all the MoP season, 2.2k+ rating was needed to buy "Bloody Dancing Steel”, “Spirit of Conquest” and “Glorious Tyranny”. which all looked the same. Yet, people who earned the required rating to buy these, was never given the illusion for it. Perhaps it’s time to implement this illusions to those people?

Yeah we do have the enchant, Glorious Tyranny or Spirit of Conquest. Just let us purchase the illusion!

We had 2.2k+ rating back then, some of us also got several achievement, we do have the enchant in the bags, just grant the enchant to us who legitimate purchased back then.

Im forced to go around with my old Prideful Gladiator Mageblade equipped for transmo purpose while we could just transmo the illusion on other weapons we love!

Exactly. It doesn’t make sense to be honest, just let us have the illusion, when we earned the required rating back then fair and square.

It’s been more then 5 years and a dev never stepped in to give us an answer :frowning:

Why cant they just see the paradox, its not fair for us

I’d say about time too. It wont take the GMs a split second to implement this into the game, versus the joy it would bring the old players who earned this back then (and still do!)

Exactly guys.!

I can literally have my heirloom with the enchant on and visually show it off, but cannot transmog it to the illusion. The frustration is real.

Yea I think that might be an error from their side not putting that into the game along with all the other season tabards?
Perhaps that’s about time too…

idk how many times i begged for this, its one of my top10 things in the game that i want and i cannot have.

and yet, i have videos on youtube were i wore it during mist of pandaria

Do you mean bloody illusion?
If you got duelist rank in mop, then you should be able to just go to the vendors on the wall to buy the illusion now.
I can even see it, even tho I had no duelist, its just red for me. :thinking:

There we go, its only ssn 14 and 15, but you can buy it if you got duelist there.

The illusions in question is the bloody dancing steel/spirit of conquest/glorius tyranny yea

They should make it so it’s for all seasons in MoP not just 14 and 15. Easy fix for this problem. No reward for people at the moment who earned these titles in s 12 and 13. /:

Let alone a tabard as well for the Malevolent season as it’s missing

Duelist/Hero of the Horde earned during ANY season in MoP should unlock it!

100 percent… Perhaps we should all also make a suggestion for it in the Support tab in-game under feedback for more focus !

Would be sick to get this in the game for us old timers who earned the enchants with 2.2k back then (or perhaps unlocked with Duelist / Hota / Hoth)

my only hope, and its not even a joke anymore, is get as big as asmongold, and talk some sense into blizzard.

Should be possible without being Asmon, but you got my vote!

Just see the feedback in this thread alone and the sheer optimism and strong hope for this to become a reality after all these years.

An easy way to do this for the develepors:

I believe it should be fairly easy to just insert the.:

“Enchanter’s Illusion - Glorious Tyranny” currently being sold from both.:

“Starlight Sinclair” (Alliance) and
“Shonn Su” (Horde)

and just implement it so that the Malevolent Gladiator vendors.:

“Lucan Malory” (Alliance) and
“Doris Chiltonius” (Horde)
could also be selling this, and just change the requirements on these vendors from:

“Requires Hero of the Alliance or Duelist earned during Season 14 or 15.
Requires Hero of the Horde or Duelist earned during Season 14 or 15.”

to

“Requires Hero of the Alliance or Duelist earned during Season 12 or 13.
Requires Hero of the Horde or Duelist earned during Season 12 or 13”.

not enough, i don’t think i was duelist, and i wasn’t hero of the horde

i had it tho, i was 2.3 in rbg.
it should require 2.1 in arena OR rbg. right now its just 2.1 in arena basically, so unfair.
