More asian styled robes

Not sure if FF14 left a affect on me, but i would love more Asian styled robes that arent from Vanilla or MOP, hopefully sometime in DF. Something that suits Pandaren casters, who i know are a minority, but there is 2 famous pandaren mages on the forums so at least thats something

man im too obsessed with transmogs. i need a new hobby in wow :joy:

I’m still hoping that we get white / grey transmog options because those starter Pandaren robes are on my bags waiting since 10 years now. They said it was coming for 10.0 but I’m not seeing anything on the PTR so I guess it’s Dance Studio all over again. :frowning:

Nope, you stay a transmog guy to promote fashion for the opposite sex!

As I do the same for the ladies.

Dunkiee points at her tube top mog.

So back on track, if you mean robes in a similar style to classic looks, I’m all in for them. There’s a couple nice looks, but are old, low res and few as well. :frowning_with_open_mouth:

Yup.

There are also very beautiful dresses which are untransmogable like the lunar dresses

But something new like the Dresses shown In this video would look amazing on a pandaren or Asian humans.

Transmog is really lacking in wow.

I really like the style used on Sprite Darter’s Transmog set. It’s similar to Wizard robe in Diablo 3 or clothing style of some Lore characters like Jaina Proudmoore, Khadgar etc, the lower part, the legs of the character is partly visible unlike the regular robes in WoW.

That style is rather unique for WoW since it’s a single piece of clothing (Chest slot) combined with its lower part. It shows that Item Design in WoW can push the limits of current game engine. And I would like to see more of that in future for Transmogs, even re-colors for Sprite Darter’s Transmog Set would be awesome.

Most of the pandaren starter gear is amazing, it really needs to be transmoggable.
Such a waste. TBH alot of the starter gear (worgen for example) is really nice.
At least they could add the sets as a Trial of Style reward!

Fingers crossed

Just let us transmog whites and greys already

I agree, and I love the starter gear from Pandaria as well. Especially the Sai daggers as it looks rather unique, closest thing to that is a dagger from Ny’alotha Raid, And at the moment, that’s like the only option, apart from some low level Dagger transmogs, which look similar to a Sai, but not exactly, it would be nice to have more options for a Sai dagger transmog.

Adding them as Trial of Style rewards is a great idea, as Trial of Style is really lacking in terms of rewards. If they add new rewards for Trial of Style event, it would make the event more refreshing and fun.

Here is hoping Blizzard noticeses this thread

What i would love more than anything is to run around in a dress with my bow and arrow feeling like a Disney princess or Susan from Narnia.

Some of us simply dont like mail heavy armor and want something more… cloth based that all classes can wear. I did this on FF14 with my hunter and it felt amazing to be running around in the woods with a cosmetic princess Dress holding a bow and arrow.

fingers crossed

Look man, I just wanna have actual geometry on my armor mesh models. Idc what they look like. Just make them look more than a flat surface.

Im sure there was talk of some grey and white items being moggable either prepatch or with DF, poss the starter sets…
I wonder if that will actually happen!?

only asian styled cloth we had in MOP

Sadly won’t happen , Blizz doesnt seem to focus on decent looking gear sadly…

i would already be happy, if you could change the color of your piece. Would be insane, SWTOR had it already ages ago.

Does this dress make me look fat?

Anyway, I don’t think WoW will do a very good job with these kinds of clothes. I wish it did, they look fantastically beautiful and our WoW characters could definitely use some elegance.

But in order to truly deliver on these sorts of things we need 2 things:

  1. Cloth physics
  2. Transparent materials

Both of these things would require a lot of work but it’d be worth it.

I really feel like Blizzard has completely forgotten that games like these are about far more than combat - and even gear. I really would like for them to make a big push on graphics and immersion, roleplaying and expressiveness.

Please no more Asian things ingame.
Cant stand Asian style games. But its maybe just me.

I mean we could all stand to gain a few pounds, sure, but who couldn’t?
