TLDR: Has Blizz announced any concrete plans to open more specs to more classes i.e. expansions/dates?
I really like when I can play a class which has tank/healing/dps roles as available specs. The only current problem is playing as a Goblin is almost the most important factor for me and the only option they have is Monk. As much as I’ve played a Monk, it’s ok but also a bit meh. So for now, I play a DH which really fits with the theme I enjoy most i.e. fel/demon type stuff.
There are only two other classes which have all three roles covered, Druid and Pala. Sorry Druids but I could never play as an animal, so I guess I don’t like the class theme. I used to main a Pala and if they could be a goblin, then maybe I’d main that but again, it’s pretty much the opposite theme from which I like playing. The playstyle is also a bit meh for me.
I know Blizz have spoken about an idea of expanding things like more race/class combos but I’m not sure if this is a concept or actually something in the works. I’m also unsure if the same applies for incorporating more healing/tank specs into existing classes.
Does anyone know anything about this or am I holding on to a dream that’ll never come true?
Hmm.i seem to have understood their post wrongly .reading it again they meant that if more specs will be added to current classes .i thought they were talking about races .my bad .

Wow only said that they will make all current specs and classes available to all races .my bad .sorry for confusion .i havent slept well apparently today
No, they actually said that no new specs are coming with the new expansion, so if they announce something big like this, I wouldn’t expect it before the next expansion.
