I know, many fans of other races are already infuriated by the human “bias” Blizzard showed with the new customization options, but let’s be real: Humans are way more diverse than the other fictional races (many of them representing a human race or a combination of human races from the real world), and even though they received many new options, I’m afraid they won’t suffice.
There are still many more options that Humans should receive. So I decided to make a list of some really basic customizations that other races already have and it is preposterous for humans not to have them:
First and foremost, a long beard that reaches further than the middle of the neck (the longest point the current human beards can reach). I am not asking for you to add all the beards Dwarves and Vrykul have, Blizzard, but can we get the beard of Necromancer models from Classic (updated, of course)? Even one long beard-option would be enough. Just give us something longer than the current beards. Please.
A Mongol-like ponytail. Orcs have had it since classic. It is basically a bald head with a ponytail.
The stereotipical Asian thin mustache and chin-beard.
Wrathion’s hair.
Jaina’s hair.
The beard of Lenin/Matthias Shaw.
A very long cossack mustache.
Also, might I ask you to remove the idiotic feature of hats and hoods hiding long hair while we have seen in many occasions (NPC hats, the Worgen heritage armor headpiece) that you actually have the technology for hats and hoods to allow hair. Add a Russian Ushanka hat also, please .
And why is that? Give arguments for Blizzard not to finish what they started. You can’t say: We’ll give humans more diverse options, and not addinng at least a long beard. So tell me, why do you think so? And why is it a bit “crazy”?
I never said that Blizzard should abandon all the other races in favor of mankind. Why can’t they show love to everyone, in your worldview? I just said that humans objectively need more customization options. Will you deny us the right to have at least a long beard in a fantasy universe with wizards? Come on. This is childish envy right there. Sure, get your skin tones, but let us humans get the diversity that we deserve.
Fine, I may have asked for a little too many new options while some races have received a few. But tell me, what about the first one, at least? What about the long beard for humans? Would you deny this to the human playerbase? Why? Out of jealousy? Don’t human spell casters need a long beard?
At least the long beard. What about that? Would you deprive us of this most basic human fantasy option just because of your notion of “justice”?
Point is you as Human, or Night Elfs, have no rights in complaining for more customizations, it’s illigal consider how much that race got compare to like Worgens got 3 skin colors change only and 1 ear, Nightborne 1 skin color “yay…”
But Nightborne are a “sub-race”, as all allied races! They are not meant to have many diverse options, especially concerning their skin color. Basically, the allied races were a first attempt to add new customization options to some races, that turned up being the implementation of new playable races. While I agree that Nightborne have very few options, and should be given some love, there are some things that are ridiculous for Blizzard not to add. One of them, the long human beard. I am not complaining, I am satisfied with their work, but there is something I, and many others anticipated, and didn’t make it to the new appearances. My whole list was a set of ideas that aimed to make the thread more interesting, while my primary concern was the long beards. There is no excuse for such a thing not to be added, not even Horde complaints and jealousy can stand as a reason to prevent that from happening.
I think, besides the beards, Humans( all races) should have a set of options for Scars, I think that’s the biggest thing missing right now, when it comes to Humans atleast.
Bit underwhelmed as well as far as humans go. Especially some facial options and scars tied behind skin colors, so you can’t have a scar with pale skin tone.
