More shoulders!

I am not sure if this has been discussed a lot, but I have been thinking about it. I’d LOVE to see more shoulder pieces that are not just your standard shoulder-pads.
Why not give us shrugs and shoulder wraps? I am incredibly envious of the NPC’s we’ve seen with them, for example;

I’d love to be able to wear this simple, yet elegant cloak over my character’s shoulders!

Shoulder-crossbow! Like the ones the gobbos get!

IK that’s a rocket but same principle!

I get so jealous of NPC armour it’s not even funny. I really love the long, high-collared coats Nathanos and the Kul’tirans wear.

They are highly capable of some immense clothing improvements as we’ve seen even as far back as Wrath with Arthas’ Stratholme model and his cloak. Greymane’s long trench coat as well as Flynn Fairwind’s. Sylvanas’ hair drapes out of her hood, etc.

They have shown time and again on a consistent basis that they CAN do it, but won’t for us.

Oh hey, remember the hype people were getting at the end of Legion when they revealed the Arathi Warfront sets? People were losing their head overnight how cool the Alliance plate set’s cloak looked.

Did we get it? Nope we got more 2D cardboard.

Preaching to the converted dude.

Like, with whole tiragarde, freehold, and pretty much rogue priate spec, im curious why we dont have shoulder that looks like parrot siting on them. There are many shoulders where u dont have pair, so just use it at base and make it parrot, we got hooks, we got hats, just parrot missing.

Make it even talk.

Am I the only one who hides their shoulders???

My Shoulders on Rogue and Warrior have tentacles. Im not hiding my glorious tentacles!

You can take off shoulder in transmog and use your elegant robes

Fix the floating shoulders issues first…

And then add new types of shoulders to the game. On my lightforged and worgen, I mostly run with hidden shoulders generally because of the floating issue. Its tiresome to have to stick to a very few types of shoulders (because the other floats) - when you do not have many nice shoulder pieces to begin with

Well, yes, of course! But it’s just something about a cloak wrapped around the shoulders that speaks to me.

I’d really like to see more pieces that seem fitting for mages and priests as well, for example - or unarmoured shoulder-pieces. Not all of us wishes to use large armoured pads! If I played a mage, I’d probably want to use something lighter on my shoulders.
