Hello!
So I’m trying brewmaster and everything goes well so far, with a few exceptions.
- I dont know yet, and the Internet is somewhat silent about it, how to increase Shuffle past 66% I’ve seen in videos people manage to go beyond;
- how to properly deal with Sikran tankbuster combo, I’m dying almost always;
Any suggestions would be greatly apperciated.
Thanks in advance.
Shuffle should only really be off on pull, as the boss may hit you sooner than keg smash lands.
If you find yourself in lower than 90% uptime you can look into the following to try and increase it:
- Double check your rotation. Shuffle is applied both by using Keg smash, blackout kick, and spinning crane kick, so you need to make sure you use both of them plenty. Blackout kick has a 4 second cooldown and you need to make sure you use it as often as possible. This of course require you to stay in melee for as long as possible, which will come with practise as you get used to the fight mechanic sequence.
As to Sikran’s tank buster it should not cause damage to you as Brewmaster, unless your co-tank is not paying attention when to swap. Whoever starts tanking needs to take the first two parts of the combo (Expose) and then the other tank taunts to take the third attack, Phase Lunge.
As Phase Lunge does not hit as hard as double expose does I recommend saving your cooldowns and rotating them in to every instance where you have to take the double expose. Shuffle and a decently stacked celestial brew+expel harm after the hit should be enough to get you back into a healthy state. For Expose you can use Celestial Brew+Dampen harm for the first one, Celestial Brew+Fortifying Brew for the second one, and Celestial Brew for the first Expose, and Zen Meditation for the second expose of the third set you take.
By the time you’d get to the next you should have Dampen Harm up once again. The most important part is to not mess up the taunt in the combo.
