There are some in the game already.
But not enough.
Along with Shadowlands we will reportedly see some options for customization. Cheers to that! 
But it would be nice to decorate those bodies that we will so dearly create.
For obvious reasons it cant be lewd LEWD

It seems silly that many allied races have body tattoo options yet there aren’t a huge number of cosmetic options that allow you to show off those tattoos. While hiding slots is an option, it’s nice to be able to put together a full set with options that work together. More options is always good!

That is actually a very good point yeah.
I’m pretty sure I haven’t seen the body painting of my zandalari or whatever it is yet, only when I created her 
More skirts would be good!
In varying colours.
Don’t like robes robes robes all the time skirts and tops would be nice to make mogs unique!

That’s a good point, there aren’t many skirt options if you already have a non-robe chest that you like. I remember trying to find a nice skirt to match the Opulence-crown-inspired tmog I was putting together but there were very few leather skirts to choose from 
It doesn’t even need to be new sets. Some basic sharpening of existing classic/tbc sets would already be enough and can be done with basically no effort.

But what if a developer’s child sees a character with an exposed arm or ankle and asks the awkward question of why it is visible?

Then they could explain to their child that people can choose to dress themselves however they wish and that bodies aren’t designed purely for the sexual enjoyment of others!
