Their lore is kinda garbage, but honestly i would say monk is the right answer.
Its fun, looks awesome, highly mobile, covers all 3 roles in the game, and open enough for you to give your character any story.
Maybe druid, although im biased against them as shape-shifting is the worst.
But they do everything you could ask for in a class. Literally everything.
But if you want to actually see your character… dont play one.
(Plus their race options are super limited too)
If you dont want to tank, priest is a good option as it covers 2 of the 3 roles, has great transmog, and priest fit in everywhere in every story.
A priest will never be out of place in wow.
