I have a question for you: which class would you consider to be the most rounded amongst them all? What I mean is that this class is great for the outdoors, has a fun, engaging mechanic, interesting lore and role play options with great transmogs, and not too hard to handle/learn the ropes of it.
I love my monk, but I was looking somewhere else to have a different view of the game and the story. Not really a fan of keg smashing, although BM definitely has an engaging play style.
Thatās not a problem, we all adore one of the classes more than the others! With hunters my issue is their self sustain As far as Iāve seen they have only one heal and the turtle shell with small amount of leech if you go with a pet like that. Arenāt you a bit squishy, or you didnāt feel like?
unfortunately there is none. the goal is to ruin classes so people switch classes and waste their time gearing.
maybe one class has a usable spec⦠but the rest is just rubbishā¦
I find myself lucky from this point of view as Iām by no means a progressive person. As a casual pleb I might do m+ (like 2+) and lfr, but thatās all. No time for me to get involved in it deeper than surface level of the endgame, and tbh Iām not really competitive in WoW.
Thanks for the reply! I wanted a tad bit change from my monk, maybe I need a different perspective on the class.
Honestly hunters have so many tools in their toolkits that they are actually really good for soloing stuff. With your pet tanking and kiting you can handle quite alot.
BM hunter will always be my absolute favourite for all the reasons you mentionedā¦I even like the transmog options!!
But honestly the most fun class is going to be the one that you love the most and thats different for everybody.
I mean druid is probably the most versatile but if you dont like druids then it will suck for you!
Ah, yes, I actually had a look at them as well, but Iām not really into furries tbh and their constant shape shifting is more of a meh for me. I do like how they portrayed Malfurion though in the Darkshore short! That itches me to make one, but I know I wouldnāt enjoy it as much.
BM hunter scratches that particular itch for me, I find them wonderfully relaxing, and very fun for exploring and just trying stuff for the heck of it. They have a great toolkit for that, plenty of āoh crap!ā buttons
But yeah, with certain things like passive aoe damage going out, theyāre quite squishy this time around. With outdoor content I can usually get away with cycling through heal, turtle and health potions, but it has been spicy at times.
This is actually a good tip to have alchemy on side for potions and things (I wouldnāt rush the lvling process anyway as Iād get a story around the character)! Many people say BM Hunters are very relaxing and also a simple spec that helps.
I knew someone will come with Pandaren but true, they are the roundest I can find!
Well - if you want a well rounded character with lots of options. Druid. Lore is deep and current. Your mobility and movement options are basically unmatched. You can be a dolphin, a prowling cat or a bombastic boomkin. Not feeling it that day? Just be the normal Elf you got as a basis.
As it got 4 specs, there are a ton of mechanics to master. There is also a ton of choice. All specs are⦠basic⦠so easy to get into, yet hard to master. There is something special to become a shapeshift master and see the value it brings.
So, if you are casual, flying around as a raven, riding around your friends as a mount and being whatever you want to for the day - Druid is the choice to pick.
A lot of tools that you can use to handle a situation that goes south, from using lay on hands to heal yourself up to full, to ignore physical damage with the use of Blessing of Protection, to going full out immune to damage for 8 seconds with Divine Shield. Self healing is also not too shabby either.
In terms of transmog you have access to an armor type that has some of the best transmog options available in the game.
The only other one who comes close are warriors, though their personal survivability isnāt that good, but still serviceable. They have one big advantage over paladins is that they can use 90% of weapons available in the game, so they are much more suited for transmog farm runs compared to paladins.
if you love casters then itās definitely mage, has great lore with good chars. involved, good storyline in class halls, all 3 specs have different playstyles . if you canāt decide on the role you want to play then itās better to have hybrid classes but i feel like pure dps classes have better design overall because of focusing on one aspect
Given your description, as a multiclass enjoyer i can recommend Evoker, specifically Augementation. You just got everything you want in spells, you can heal, damage, and tank all in 1; everyone loves having you around, and you can jump, glide, semi dragonfly and zoom around casting while moving almost all the time.
Not to mention you can rescue friends, or grab enemies and fly away with them in pvp⦠stop time⦠throw people upwards and crash them down. Itās just so fun, and tmog options are awesome too (in human form, that is).
