Hello, how is your day guys?

I wanted to ask, what is/are your hated in-game sounds, noises you hate with passion? :smiley:

For me it’s walking on those metal plates in orgrimmar, while moving out from teleportation room for example :smiley:

They’re not sounds, per se. But I hate how Vulpera sound, both sexes. Why are they American? They’re from the desert.

There are desert like areas in the US.

And if they did make a gypsy (whom they’re generally based on) accent, I think many would’ve called 'em racist for how they sound.

Sound I don’t know but that warlord Loti pisses me everytime when I enter Zuldazar.

Currently, all the NPCs voicing world quests. I am past sassing them I want to murder.

Probably either the female vulpera attack sound (I love my vuplie but she’s a tad irritating at times), or the DBM klaxon.

Then again, the latter is an addon and is kinda supposed to be annoying…

Feral Druid attack effects, I cannot stand them.
Vulpera voice and ‘Meerah’s Jukebox’.

Pygmies sounds are probably the most annoying for me.

Some Frost Mage spells have annoying sounds too, like Ice Lance for example.

Would love if male Vulpera character voice would be less high pitched…but it’s not that terrible, can deal with that.

Ahhhhhhh…great thread. The ones below that can be cancelled by MuteSoundFile addon have been cancelled:

  1. dialogue
  2. the so-called “fizzle” sound of a spell not casting
  3. Yak grummles
  4. the attack screech of a female draenei (comes too often I think, sound is quite good itself, although bit comedy-karate)
  5. the mawkish, cloyingly sentimental VOs of the Proudmoore clan (sorry actors, prob not your fault…)
  6. too frequent Worgen snuffles
  7. the new feral attack sounds
