I was wondering whats the most needed class at hardcore. I know whats the most played but that doesn’t mean much as warriors are one of the most played but few reach end game levels.
Thanks

Tanks or healers
So
Warriors
Paladins
Priests
Shamans
Druids
Are most needed classes
Warriors being the strongest tanks
Priests bejng the strongest healer
If ur looking at dps
Likely
Warlocks or shamans
I like mages, food and water is always in high demand. Rallos’s suggestion about Warlock isn’t bad either due HS and quick summon portals making these a good choice for parties.
The downside is the squishyness if you don’t go a class that has sustains, potions and bandages can only do so much.
Somewhat agree but I think the order is wrong. Tanks will always be most needed.
Warrior
Druid
Priest
Mages are always great, but overpopulated. So in terms of other less-played classes I would say:
Warlock
Shaman
We need more Paladins with a good heart.
warrior tank. At any level. You will always find a group.
Most needed in what? 5mans? Or raids?
The above people are talking about 5mans (and the 5man farm ends sooner or later).
For raiding, however, I’d stay away from mages and hunters as they simply don’t die enough to be replaced. Warlocks, on the other hand, are very few around.
If you really want to be needed for endgame raiding, go fury warrior. The are stackable like crazy and they die often, so you will get your spot eventually if you do the atrocious preraid farm.
I myself made a mage in HC to try out for SoM2/classic+ and I have trouble finding a decent guild. Nobody recruits them. Will go fury for SoM
I am in the exact same situation, I rolled a mage to try before the next season starts. But on a seasonal servers death won’t be a problem so there will be plenty of warriors. I started a topic in the Classic forum asking about what class would be in demand and the answer I got was shaman.
