Hello, i have never healed that much and i want to try it out but i want healer who can stand for himself a little. So in pvp you dont wait for someone to come because you do nothing except healing or in pve you just sit and heal thats it. I am looking for something who can help with dps, support and of course heal.
Can you advice me a right spec for this ?

Holy can be a real pumper, but they won’t be able to heal with their damage except Holy Nova.
Disc can do that, but their dmg is lower and they only have one spammable single target heal that also deals backlash damage.
Man, I play Overwatch for that fix.
*but I’ve felt closest to that feeling on ele… so I imagine resto could be good, but then shammies are focused down first and we still lack better defensives, pve might be good
All healers are expected to help out with dps in pvp, and dungeons. A bit less so in raiding. Right now holy priest deals amazing dps, especially kyrian with 4 set. Balance will probably change in s4 so who knows if holy stays this way. Holy paladin deals great damage too, has tons of utility and has great defensive abilities. Holy paladin also heals by dealing damage a bit, with glimmer of light. Disc priest mostly heals by dealing damage, even in raids, but is quite difficult to learn. I do recommend priest though, you can always choose priest and switch between holy and disc as you like.
imo with druid you have the most dps uptime that isn’t a semi-afk smite spam =)

There might be some class balance changes soon before season 4 kicks off, so it’s hard to make recommendations at the moment based on class power.
Holy priest, resto shaman, and holy paladin have the best healer DPS at the moment. But all healers have damage-dealing abilities that they can spam while they’re not required to heal. Mistweaver’s melee rotation feels quite fun, but unfortunately the damage output is tuned very low a the moment. Same with resto druid and cat-weaving: it’s a lot of fun, but the numbers are low at the moment.
Pick something that you enjoy playing and collecting transmogs for. Season 4 class balance tuning is likely to happen and change things.
Honestly as long as you avoid Disc you’re fine to pick any of what’s left.
So long as Disc is designed around doing damage to heal, it will never be allowed to deal actual damage, nor will it ever be allowed to perform sufficient healing via the damage it does deal anywhere other than in a raid environment.

Resto Shaman with Earth Ele legendary / Disc-Holy Priest / Feral Affinity Resto Druid / perhaps Necro Holypaladin as well, these are your options.
HolyPriest can solo people with Ascended Boon, Kyrian covenant.
My suggestions are valid for PvP part of the game, I am not a PvE expert.
I don’t know why I was thinking that you were asking about the most mean healer lol.

Resto Shaman.
Pop Earth Elemental with the legendary, Vesper Totem + 3 heals & 3 DPS abilities and break the DPS metters.
Disc is also an option but Disc abilities feel really weak visually compared to Chain Lightning and Lava Burst.

The subject you bring is much bigger and it concludes a lot of stuff.
I never sit and heal or wait for someone in group to lose health to heal.(There are times i can not predict the damage a dps will take but that’s on them when they are not careful sometimes)
I use damage spells stuns and whatever my class can do in a dungeon along with healing spells.
For more you need to get experience as a healer to know what to do and when to do it.
It does not happen when you start playing a healer.
