Well, it aint going to be Highmountain Tauren since regular Tauren has now got the warpaint option and alot of other options.

Im really happy for tauren players as they got some cool stuff. But yeah I imagine it feels bad being hmt right now. Literally tauren with antlers and way less skin colours, no piercings, etc.

I am curious to see how blizzard will distinguish them from OG tauren in the AR updates, because with the warpaint and jewellry with feathers and tails, it feels like HMT have nothing going for them bar antlers

I think the most undervalued allied race at the moment is HMT. Their racial ability is a lot of fun in PvE and PvP. I love that free extra charge especially on my HMT warrior, but it’s useful for pretty much every class.

Yeah, as a big fan of the Tauren I was a little disappointed with the lack of HMT options. I also wanted to roll a priest and was a tad miffed to find that this wasn’t an option for them.

I don’t play Alliance but would defintely say that Vulpera and Nightborne seem to be the more popular allied races on horde side at the mo.

Yeah to me, this update would have been the perfect opportunity to port some of the OG tauren skin colours like blue, grey, grey-brown, white etc to HMT as well as the piercings for nose given then use the same model. But…as far as I am aware they still have like no options.

I mean mechagnomes got the new skin tone gnomes did, and mechagnome DKs can now have the DK skin colours too. But HMT? Seems they missed pretty much everything. Can they even change eye colour yet?

I’m hopeful that as time goes on, more options will be added for the HMT, and also for the other races that haven’t had much love in this regard.

My first max hunter was a survival HMT I levelled from scratch for the HA, he looked so good smacking people down with his spear and I had great fun with him for most of 8.2.

They are great as their Tauren cousins! Just too bad that their custom options are so limited.

You see this with a lot of the unpopular ARs, their racials are crazy good, but people just can’t look past whatever it is they don’t like about them.

The charge is immensely helpful. I’d use it in M+ on my survival boy to knock down mobs casting or channeling non kickables. Like when you get several of those skeletons in AD with the bulwark. You bowl them all over and job done. Really really good racial.
