Like the title says, having difficulity to make a decent amount of gold so i thought maybe someone here could point me in a good direction? Thank you!

So the crafting professions are dead then?
Crafting professions aren’t dead dead, but if you want to get money about instantly, having a toon with herbalism and mining is good.
If you think in terms of time spent/money earned, it may not be. My favorite used to be having 5 transmutation alchemists that I logged on and pressed the button for profit once a day, sometimes it proced x5 truegold or living steel etc. That was a ~2 sec cast and the money earned per second was pretty good. Not sure how good it is now, haven’t gotten that far. Craftables moves slow in my experience in AH, but theoretically you can earn money there too, not only on professions, but you can’t be attached to when it sells.
