Hey, this will be my first thread here on the forums 
I’m wondering which obtainable weapon illusion is the rarest, I’ve been googling it but it don’t seem like anyone is talking about it. I got winters grasp and flames of ragnaros last December, I know flames of ragnaros is pretty rare, but is there any illusion that have a that have a drop chanse less than 0.6 - 0.8? Thanks
Nope, Flames of Ragnaros and Winter’s Grasp are the rarest ones outside of PvP illusions! Congrats!

What about this brand new one, Illusion: Void Edge from SW vision?
It has to be the rarest, at least for now.
Because it just came out. In a few weeks everyone will have it.
I didn’t know they added a new illusion, we’ll find out what the drop chanse is in a couple of months, tho you can get this all year round, winters grasp and flames of ragnaros are only obtainable during winters veil (18 days), to me that makes winters grasp and flames of ragnaros a little more rare. But I could be wrong, we’ll find out thanks for replying

(Naah… Its too flashy on DW. Maybe when Shadowlands will give me 2h weapon)

Winters grasp have a 0.5 to 8% chanse to drop, 8% from Smokywood Pastures Special Gift, and 0.5% from Stolen Present according to wowhead, but we only have 18 days to get it
I think winters grasp looks amazing on Netherbane(pink/purple crystal axe from tbc) it’s flashy but it look really good on monks in my opinion, because they carry the axes on their back

Flames of Ragnaros can sometimes be up at BM ah but I keep forgetting to check and have no idea what it might cost. I’ve had no luck with that one dropping.
Lucky getting Winter’s grasp though. Didn’t know it was that rare.
I had hoped illusions usable for bows would be added, but so far nothing. Don’t know about this new one?

I’m sure they’ll let you put illusions on bows eventually, they finally let us transmog legendaries, so maybe illusions on bows is next?

My friend spent several million gold on Flames from BMAH without realising that it was still in-game. This was on AD though.

The gold spent isn’t wasted. It’s an incredibly rare enchant, even more so than sub 1% mount drops in the game, so that way you’ll at least guarantee yourself getting it for a (steep) price.
For me the most hardest one was Chronos, around 70 attempts.
Nightmare illusion is the rarest I have 789 tries so far.
