The upcoming bank change made me think about what are the most valued items in my bank that would make me sad to lose with possible technical issues in bank change.
I have two items I know I have that came to my mind without checking the bank on all my characters:
-
A letter from a good friend from over 15 years ago (Wotlk). We were in the same guild a long time and I concider ourselves to be a good in-game friends. In this letter she let me know that she does not want to play wow anymore and since we never interacted in real life (this was before facebook was a thing!) I never heard from her again. Iâve kept a copy of this in-game letter in my bank all these years.
-
Sindorei Warblade on my alliance paladinâs bank. I got this before transmog was a thing and I kept it as a roleplaying purpose and in that time it belonged to my nemesis, a fierce blood knight who killed my family.
I might have some other things as well, items no longer available in game, but these two came to my mind without checking.
So, what items do you have in your bank that you value the most? I donât mean nesseccarily in the gold value, but something that is precious to you. Might be related to a memory or to a friend who no longer plays or something like that.

Two items that are mostly of sentimental value:
The âCrystal Pylon Userâs Manualâ from an ancient vanilla quest in Unâgoro Crater. Has some really cool illustrations in it.
And the Carrot on a Stick.

The haunted memento is the only thing I would be really sad to loose.
I have other bits and pieces with sentimental value from the early vanilla and tbc years, I have a bunch of flowers in the bank of my first toon that was a gift. I rarely play her but every now and then I log into her bank and get nostalgic!

I have lots of items, either rewards from quest or actual quest items or drops, which were from the old world before the Cataclysm. I also have quite a few letters like Leroch. Iâd say I have more than 50 such items overall
Nothing to do but hope.
This was my first epic item I dropped when I started playing in WotLK. Itâs totally useless now, even for transmog, but itâs still in my bank.
And Happy Fun Rock. Back when we didnât have toys like today, I always kept it âjust in caseâ. Makes me smile every time I see it in my bank.

My pet charms⌠got like 30k in there, and theyâre painfully slow to accumulate to buy them 10k charm pets. Them pets go for a lot off the AH.
Be nice if Blizz made them a freaking currency instead of taking up space in inventoryâŚ
Now that is some memories right there.
My first epic i ever got which was the lifestone.

My bank account in Azeroth is empty .if some thieves conduct a bank heist they will get nothing from my bank account .
Im just gonna risk it with the merge of banking systems. Im not sure I value any one single item more.

Not even sure what I have in my bank. I do have some items that has been in there since I started playing, probably completely useless and I wonât even notice if it disappears
Iâll have a look and see when I get back home from my vacation.

Lots items from vanilla and up from questing/pvp/raid with my dad.
Thou if to choose vanilla warrior hw/gm armor and weapons,
still have it all in the bank.
(My dad and his friends basicly carried me (alliance back then))
On patch 11.1.2 or 11.1.5 it vanished from my transmog pages,
noticed cause I wanted to transmog hw 2hand sword and hw 1hand sword but
it just gone.
No clue if any other vanilla transmog or other vanished too.
(I did report it in game as bug but nothing happen)
