As per patch 11.0.5, there’ll be a Pet collection achievement for 1800 pets.
That is… a sizeable amount.
The biggest collection achievement for pets in game currently is one to collect 1600 pets; which is obtained by <1% of the playerbase, according to Data For Azeroth.
Meanwhile, the highest mount collection achievement is 500 mounts, obtained by roughly 5% of the playerbase; also via Data For Azeroth.
My question, and the question from a lot of collectors with me, is quite simple.
When would we see new mount collection achievements, with an equally epic mount to match them with?
(While we’re on the topic, toys only have a max 500 collection achievement as well!)
Agree, pet collection achievements are way ahead of the collection reward game than mounts / toys.
there are alot of rewards in demand that are even in the game files (stormcrow mount) for example can be the 600 mount reward.
with the amount of mounts / toys being added in addition of the trading post adding alot aswell i agree they should go up to a 1000 then not add more for a while until 13.1 etc.
As a Casual Mount Farmer myself I would also like to know the answer to this question, many of us are sitting at the 900ish Mount Range, I feel like, for a lot of People, having a counter that is currently “Unreachable”, or seemingly anyway, would be a great motivator to keep on the grind
I would love for a 1000 Mount achi personally, and of course Previous Ranks of this achievement for people of different collection sizes, so everyone can keep working on something
I know Blizzard’s Argument is always “we gotta keep this obtainable by the average player” but idk, I’d really like the mount version of “Mythic” existing, so to speak anyway
With 1k+ mounts in total in the game (with just under still obtainable) i do feel the mount achievement collectors have kind of been forgotten of late. 500 mounts was the last one that was given and even back then there were over 700-800 available.
If blizzard feels like it needs to keep adding achievements for pets i do feel the other categories should be dealt with in the same way. it doesnt have to be a mount for each 100 mounts, but just something to work towards, or get acknowledged for the collectors who are enjoying the game for collection’s sake.
