Mount for under level 20s?

Hi,

Someone explain to me why people who are less than level 20 are able to use that stupidly noisy bike (I don't know what it's called but I'm sure you know what all know what I'm on about). Surely it should be classed as a mount and not be usable until level 20?

it's an heirloom collection award that can be ridden from level 1 ( Heirloom Hoarder achievement for collecting 35 heirlooms)... there is one other mount in game you can use at level 1(i believe) and thats the sea turtle you fish up.

It’s a chauffeur. And you can’t even be dismounted from it, because it’s a vehicle not a mount. It’s worth using even until level 40, but no one does cos it’s ugly and noisy. I use it because it’s so useful, but I agree it probably is unnecessary.

welcome to wow, please do one of two things, leave or spend 60 eur to buy a boost, because you're at a massive disadvantage as a new player =)

You have a chauffeur because you aren't allowed to drive yourself. And as explained it's an achievement mount for buying a certain number of heirlooms.

It was introduced as a mount for people under level 20. That's why your character sits in the sidecar, and driver is s chauffer. Also this mount becomes useless after level 40 because it doesn't scale with riding skill, it always increses moving speed by 60%

It costs less than 20k. Not that much for a mount with a special ability.

The actual reason you cannot be dismounted is because the Chauffeur is technically the driver, not you and the driver is max level, meaning it cannot be dismounted by mobs lower than itself.
