I am someone with quite a few alts, but I notice that (at least for me) the mount gear isn’t accountwide.
Like yes they are boa (at least the one I have from the waterstrider) … but yeh I had to add it to my main and my alts.
This is ridiculous, ppl have hundreds of mounts… so are we now forced to use 1 all the time on every char? Why not have the gear you put in a mount accountwide so you only have to do it once per mount…
I’m not sure what the problem is? You have hundreds of mounts perhaps, but you only have max. 50 characters, and not all of them require mount equipment. The mount equipment should be character bound, no? As in, if you equip it, it’ll be bound to the character and all their mounts and not just one mount? Or did I understand the whole theory of mount equipment wrong?
What are you even taking about?
You don’t equip it per mount, it’s per character. How it used to be forced you into using the waterstrider now you can use any mount.

When you equip a mount item, it affects all mounts on that character. Personally it should be this way. Tanks for example don’t get dazed whilst riding so if I am on my tank I dont want anti-daze equipment. If you are on a DK you can already mount over water so you can use a different item on your DK. If it was account-wide, this flexibility would be lost.
It doesn’t seem to be per character…all the other mounts haven’t got the item equipped
