Mount Level Requirements

I have a couple level 10 Twinks on Retail (TWW), which can use all of my mounts, since mount level requirements is 10.

However, I just got the Brewfest mount during the recent Brewfest event on my level 10 Twink, and the level requirement to learn the mount is level 17.
This HAS to be a bug, since it would make no sense to be able to use the mounts, but not able to learn them.

Is there a fix for this, except level to 17?
I mostly want to stay level 10 for nostalgic reasons, since I’ve spent a lot of time min-maxing this character a long time ago, so if there is a quick fix for this without me having to level it, I would be relieved.

While I’m afraid Customer Support wouldn’t be able to help manually bypass the restriction, I’d agree that it’s likely to be a bug and would need to be reported as such.

All things considered any changes to this might take some time though, so I’ll leave it up to you if you want to level the character to learn the mount, or try and obtain it again on another higher level character.
